Overview:
Safer Streets Indian Wells is dedicated to improving the safety, accessibility, and quality of life for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists in Indian Wells. Focusing on four key streets—Eldorado Drive, Fairway Drive, Rancho Palmeras Drive, and Cook Street—this project aims to reduce speed, enhance mobility, and create a safer environment for all users. The success of these efforts will rely on community outreach and active resident participation to ensure the improvements reflect the needs and preferences of Indian Wells citizens.

- City Council Meeting for All Streets: Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 1:30 pm in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

- Planning Commission Public Hearing for All Streets: Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at 1:30 pm in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
Phase 2 - Rancho Palmeras and Cook Street
Phase 2 addresses safety improvements on Rancho Palmeras and Cook Street, enhancing pedestrian, bicyclist and vehicular safety. The city hosted community meetings to gather input and discuss proposed enhancements.
