New RBC Code of Conduct Policy

Post Date:02/04/2026 1:39 PM

The Residence Benefit Card (RBC) is one of the many ways the City of Indian Wells celebrates its residents, offering access to exclusive events, discounts and resident-only experiences.

To help preserve these benefits and ensure they are enjoyed fairly by everyone, the City Council has adopted a new Residence Benefit Card Code of Conduct Policy, administered by the City Manager’s Office. Thank you to the Council for their diligent work in creating the policies established by the document.

This policy clearly outlines how the RBC may be used and the expectations for cardholder conduct. At its core, it reflects values our community already shares: respect, courtesy and integrity. Cardholders serve as ambassadors for Indian Wells when attending City-sponsored events or visiting partner venues, and responsible use helps maintain the quality of these experiences for all residents.

Clear guidelines help protect the long-term success of the RBC program by keeping benefits resident-focused and partnerships strong. We encourage residents to review the policy and continue enjoying the privileges of the Residence Benefit Card while helping uphold the standards that make Indian Wells an exceptional place to live.
