Indian Wells extends its congratulations to Dina Purvis on her appointment as the new Public Works Director!

Dina has been with the City of Indian Wells for over 6 years and started in January 2020 as an Assistant Engineer. After excelling in her role and becoming Public Works Manager in 2023, she was promoted to Assistant Public Works Director, where she oversaw all ongoing and future capital improvement projects and public works operations in Indian Wells.

After numerous positive reviews from both staff members and residents highlighting her hard work and dedication to the
City, Dina was promoted to Public Works Director in December 2025. In this role, she will continue to oversee Indian Wells’ infrastructure and maintain services to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Before joining the City, Dina earned her Bachelor’s degree in geospatial intelligence from Delta State University. Additionally,
she recently obtained her Master’s degree in applied geospatial information systems and technology from UCLA.

Dina looks forward to serving Indian Wells residents in this new role and advancing efforts that improve the community’s quality of life.
