Indian Wells to Host Q&A Workshop for Community Assistance Grant Program Applicants

Indian Wells, CA  – City of Indian Wells Community Assistance Grant Program applications are now available for the 2008-2009 funding cycle.  The city is accepting applications now through March 14, 2008.

Please note that the application process has been revised for the coming year. First-time applicants and others interested in learning more about the city’s grant program are encouraged to attend a Question and Answer Workshop to be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Indian Wells City Hall, 44-950 Eldorado Drive.    The application packet may be downloaded from the City of Indian Wells website at www.cityofindianwells.org (City Hall, Grants, Community Assistance Grants). Applications must be received by the city by 5 p.m. on March 14, 2008. Applicants will receive e-mail notification/confirmation of receipt of application within 72 hours.

During the last funding period, the city’s Community Assistance Grant Program awarded more $225,000 to help 28 valley community-based organizations.
