Finance Department


Finance Department Director Kevin McCarthy and his co-workers oversee the day-to-day management of the city's financial resources.

Finance Department responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining controls to ensure city funds are properly managed.
  • Maintaining detailed financial records
  • Keeping the City Council and city manager up to date on the city's financial position
  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Maintaining the employee payroll
  • Providing strategic planning for capital improvement programs
