Finance Department responsibilities include:

Maintaining controls to ensure city funds are properly managed.
Maintaining detailed financial records
Keeping the City Council and city manager up to date on the city's financial position
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintaining the employee payroll
Providing strategic planning for capital improvement programs
