Retail Sales
As of 2006, total taxable sales in Indian Wells totaled $105.8 million. Retail sales in the city's exclusive destination hotels and retail centers along the Highway 111 corridor continue to support revenue growth. With the upcoming development of Miles Crossing, a 39-acre mixed use real estate development slated for the corner of Miles Avenue and Highway 111, these figures will likely increase. Miles Crossing will include 150,000 square feet of fine retail shops, restaurants and a condominium residence hotel.
